It's a new day in The World, and a special quest is abound. But wait, the players cry! The game isn't open yet! Shush you, the GMs warned. This is only a test drive meme.

The game is simple. You've woken up in a lush field of grass, soft to the touch and a little damp with dew. Spring has reached The World, and there's a randomized checklist in your hand. Your goal is to catch five of the Lucky Animals bounding about, and it's perfectly fine to work together. In fact, we encourage it!

Collect them all and deposit them in a pen where the GMs await. There's plenty for everyone, but they will be watching closely for cheaters. Any items won in this pre-game minigame will carry over once

holyrelic opens, so get your limited edition item set today!

Magnificent prizes await you, so go forth! Just beware; some of the Lucky Animals aren't really so lucky and have their own side effects.

(All participants who apply will receive a mochi hat of the player's choosing. They can be either small (think mini tophats) or large (like a harvest cleric's hat) and any of the three colors, with any variety of accessories.

All participants who finish the quest will earn a spring-themed beginner item set! It will include one weapon and a bonus item set with five restoratives, five randomized buff spells, and five randomized food items.)

[Taiyou quietly makes his way as well. Just waiting for that perfect opportunity...]

[Kirino waits for a few moments before scooping up the Fate Worm in his arms.] Got it!

Yay~! This is much quicker than trying to convince them to go with you!

And more efficient than trying to charge them down. [He beams.] Time to go put this one in the pen.

Sure thing. Why don't you go ahead with that, I'll try get that Two-Tailed Fox.

All right. If I can get another one while I'm in that vicinity, I will, okay?

[So Taiyou walks toward the creature... and just as he reaches out to grab it--SNAP]

AH--!

[Wow he narrowly missed getting bitten there; boy that Two-Tailed Fox doesn't look all pleased. That's one harsh glare and............

Well, now Taiyou's being chased around in circles. Good thing about his aforementioned fast running.]

[Kirino makes his way back over after placing the Fate Worm in the pen. A Tsutsuga is tucked under one of his arms as he watches the scene before him.

He's contemplating kicking the Two-Tailed Fox, but he really doesn't want to hit an animal. Still, he should probably stop making it chase Taiyou somehow...]

[Maybe if he ran fast enough then stopped with a quick turn he could grab it? Taiyou suddenly shifts from running in a circle to a straight line, going quite a distance away from where Kirino spotted him again.]

[Kirino jogs after, then looking at the ground. He notices a decent-sized rock, which he picks up...

... then throws a good distance away from the fox as a (hopeful) distraction.]

[Welp, the fox takes it and Taiyou is still running. Finally after some seconds he stops and wonders where it went.]

...??

[Kirino jogs over, the Tsutsuga under his arm still.]

Hey. [Just gonna play it like nothing happened.]

Oh, Kirino! Ah... I was going after something but I lost it. [More like it was going after you Taiyou...]

Good job on getting another one!

[Kirino can't help but chuckle a bit.] Better luck next time, huh? But, thanks! After this one, we only need one more.

Oh, that's great. Want to put that one you're holding in the pen first?

Might be a good idea. [Kirino starts making his way towards the pen, lightly humming to himself.]

[Taiyou is enjoying the scenery as he walks beside Kirino.] Sure feels great to be outside~

The air's really clean here. It's nice.

[He glances over at Taiyou.] You don't get to go outside much?

... Depends... [His smile fades just a little. He's technically not supposed to, but he does sneak outside on a regular basis.]

[Kirino frowns in concern.] ...?

[Taiyou shakes his head, and his smile's back to its previous cheer.] It's nothing, really~

Well, if you're sure. [Kirino places the Tsutsuga in the pen along with the other Lucky Animals once the two reach it.] One more.

Alright. What about that one with the big nose? [Referring to a Tengu peacefully sitting on one spot.]

That works! [Time to start being sneaky again!]

Alright, here goes...

[Once the two got close enough, alee-oop, Tengu's in Taiyou's arms. Wow he's not even resisting; the Tengu must be really sleepy.]

Aw, I kind of want to keep him. [Sigh.] Oh well~
