CHARACTER: Hope Estheim || Final Fantasy XIII
LEVEL & CLASS: apparently lv. 27 Harvest Cleric
GUILD: none at the moment, but there's one in making that he'll probably end up joining soon.

PERSONALITY: Sometimes bitter and a bit on the shy side, but good-natured and helpful - if you need a healer, he'll be there in a flash. Protective of his friends. Kinda naive, but by no means dumb; think of him as of a typical teenager who has gone through not-so-typical experiences.

In other words, he's a really nice kid unless you step on his toes - and since it's incredibly easy to push his buttons, Hope requires a rather careful approach. One wrong move and he'll either throw an immature fit or make a face... yeah, feel free to play with that, but the outcome won't be very pleasant.

Likes silence. Somewhat sulky and constantly bothered by negative thoughts, although he's not likely to talk about it unless pressed for details (and even then, he'll probably keep trying to change the subject).

DAILY SCHEDULE: He actually trains a lot! Usually on his own, but if he's on good terms with your character, feel free to assume that he'd agree to join their party.
WHAT THEY'VE BEEN UP TO?: Nothing in particular, I think! He's been... settling down, pretty much, slowly coming to terms with the reality surrounding him. Generally keeping a low profile after the stunt with wanted posters.
FUTURE PLANS & WISHES: Lately, Hope has been mostly hanging out with other kids, but the thing is... he needs an actual role model. Someone who would treat him as equal, showing him the ropes at the same time. Not necessarily a good fighter (though that's definitely a plus), just adult influence that could hopefully shake off this negativity which is his entire mind.

Other than that, I'm open for all kinds of CR, be it new bffs or characters that will piss the heck out of him (just no angst, please, I've had enough for the rest of the year month). Believe it or not, he's also a valuable asset in battles~! A HC that additionally comes with offensive spells, you know you want him in your party.

ANYTHING ELSE?: ... Anyone wants Chim Chim dolls leftovers from the festival? He's got a loooot of those and, let's say, they don't really fit his... image. Or do they?

I need to throw Raphael and Layton at Hope too because WHAT SONIC AND LINK AREN'T ENOUGH? HAVE SOME MORE POSITIVE INFLUENCES IN YOUR LIFE HOPE YOU CAN'T ROCK THIS BOAT THERE ARE THINGS TO BE DONE!!! Fariiiii stop making Hope adorable I can't handle it uwuwuu ;;

I love how they've only just met and there's already this quiet link of understanding. IT REALLY SUCKS, but who said we can't fight back?

Chilling while annihilating enemies from a safe distance sounds fine, too. /smirks. I'm absolutely up for it...!

I am SO GLAD to hear this (and no less flattered ♥), because I'm loving these threads. Sonic in particular is just such an adorable ray of sunshine that I feel almost guilty for making him experience all those woes, ehehe...heh;; /apologetic bow

I WANT EVERYONE! Prometheus included, because negative CR is a lovely kind of CR. He's probably gonna be a bit intimidated by Layton, too~! Really, don't hesitate to tackle this guy - and I will, of course, make sure to poke them myself when a chance arises.

D'aww. Cheering up is important, but even more so is rewarding with light shoves instead of enabling sulking fits, and I have to say Sonic does a great job so far.

... Am I a bad person for actually liking the idea? Yeah, I probably am. He's only started to enjoy this place, so I'm gonna let him breathe freely for a while, afterwards, however... who knows. Life is tough, after all.

It's not going to be a straight up ambush on the field either. 8T The two will probably ask him to party with them and then kill him out on the field. And possibly take his stuff. And laugh at his corpse (well, Prometheus will laugh, Pandora will just lineface some more).
